Zahra Hussain 

Zahra Hussain is on the board of editors on The Economics Review. Her focus lies in Opinion based and Argumentative pieces. 

“I am a firm believer that everyone should be able to access and benefit from economic knowledge. Whether it's labor markets, global conflicts, inflation, or the environment, I want to help explain the forces influencing our society and transform difficult concepts into engaging narratives. By relating theory to the actual problems individuals encounter on a daily basis, I hope to educate and spark intelligent discussion in addition to polishing prose. I would adore contributing my editorial skills to a platform that enables readers to comprehend and interact with the economics of daily living.”

Areej Zaidi 

Areej Zaidi on the board of editors on The Economics Review. Her focus lies in News Analysis. She also writes for our school newspaper, The Statesman where she covers topics in political economy, everyday economics and international affairs.

“This magazine is important to me because it offers a platform to engage deeply with ideas that shape our understanding of society. Writing has always been a way for me to clarify my thoughts, challenge assumptions, and communicate complex concepts effectively. Serving as an editor allows me to support and elevate the work of others, fostering rigorous analysis and critical dialogue while honing my own skills in careful reasoning and clear expression. I see this project as an opportunity to merge my commitment to writing, critical thought and exploration of economic ideas that influence societal structures.”
